Paul Karlsen Building

Paul Karlsen started working in the trades for his dad at 14 years old, working summers and school vacations. He enjoyed what he was doing, and learned a lot from his dad. He was fascinated with the whole process of building a complete house from start to finish and his dream was to do that as opposed to doing just a part of it.

So in 1982 Paul obtained a general contractors license and with the help of his dad he was able to get a construction loan and build a complete home for sale. That home sold and other homebuyers seeing what he was offering hired him to build their homes. He has enjoyed that process so much he has never quit. After many years of building, a lot of the homes he builds each year are for past customers or friends and relatives that they have referred. New customers are always welcome of course.
